Astex Environmental Services (AES) is a Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Texas based corporation, formed in 1988 to provide environmental consulting on a variety of concerns for our commercial and residential clients.
AES was born out of the necessity created by the great amount of concern and confusion within the real estate, mortgage, and commercial banking fields in regards to potential liability from environmental hazards such as Asbestos, PCBs, Lead, Mold, Radon, underground storage tanks, and waste water as well as confusion over compliance with Federal Regulations.
With a broad background in commercial real estate, industrial hygiene, and physical science, AES has assembled an experienced and knowledgeable team of professionals to answer a variety of environmental needs ranging from Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (Property Transfer Assessments, Due Diligence), Phase II Environmental Hazard Assessments, Asbestos Hazard Liability Assessments, Lead Based Paint Inspections, Soil Remediation, Hazardous Material Disposal, and Mold/Indoor Air Quality. AES views and approaches these issues from an owner/buyer/lender perspective not just the scientific or regulatory aspects. AES’ reports are concise and written in an easy to read manner for non-scientific clients and contain cost estimates and recommendations that are “bottom line” sensitive. AES can perform services for clients in all areas of Texas and the United States and does so with a consciousness on cost. AES is Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac approved and subscribes to and practices the ASTM Standards for Environmental Assessments. Through our extensive network of environmental professionals, AES can provide a project management approach that ensures our clients will receive state of the art solutions to a wide range of environmental problems.
AES has extensive DOD experience with multiple prime contractors.
